To become a vibrant community arts organization in Houston that connects residents through film, theater, and creative media—nurturing new voices and telling diverse local stories.

Programs
Mobile Film Lab
1–2 day workshop for ages 14+. Learn to plan, shoot and edit short videos (60 sec–3 min) on your phone. Each participant leaves with one finished piece ready to share.
Acting & Public Speaking Basics
Build confidence on camera and on stage—voice, expression, and teamwork—to support real-world communication and job interviews.
Open Post-Production Lab
Weekly open hours with mentors for editing, color, sound and captions. Priority for youth and underrepresented groups.
Community Screening Night
Monthly showcase of learner-made works followed by dialogues with creators—free to attend with optional donations.
1-to-1 Mentoring
Pair emerging creators with filmmakers, actors and sound designers in Houston for portfolio building and career pathways.
Story Circle
Intergenerational story-sharing for immigrant communities—recorded to grow a living “Houston Memory Library”.
Featured Events
An intensive, hands-on workshop where up to 30 participants will learn to create short films using only their mobile phones. Guidance by professional filmmakers, covering storyboarding, filming, editing, and adding subtitles. Free to join. Each participant receives a micro‑scholarship for cloud storage of their finished project. Snacks and networking included. Registration closes Oct 10.
Sign upA community premiere featuring 12 short films (about 3 minutes each) created by learners of our programs. The films reflect diverse local stories—from immigrant journeys to everyday life in Houston. The event included a panel discussion with filmmakers and community leaders. Recordings will be available for replay online throughout October.
